"Silent dialogue" is a video installation composed with three panel wall-projections. In this work, I use three different scenes to create an immersive space, which reflects an abstract interaction between Chinese single-children (post-80s generation) and their parents. In the centre of the installation space, there are two stools hanging slightly off the ground. They look like waiting to be sit, but in fact they should not be accessible. The entire work is based on social activities and phenomena in China nowadays, where parents gather in parks arranging blind dates for their children for marriage purposes.
